Our story so far...
Queen Kytana has now been ruling the Vampire world for a whole year. Of course, her title has been disputed and her reign is still seen as controversial by her peers. These reactions were primarily motivated by jealousy from her many rivals. This new meeting has been arranged at the insistance of diverse rulers not invited at last year’s grouping and is held at another secret base of operations.
Queen Kytana has been ruling under a conservative but still unexpected style, which does not please the majority of her subjects. They fear that she wants to limit their own personal ambitions of conquest. Also, Kytana has kept some new associates very close to her, individuals that are not known to the well-established Princesses and were certainly not elected before a council. Kytana's long-term plans are yet to be revealed.
Lara has been seen as Kytana’s protégée in training. Their many rivals resent that so young a vampire should climb to such a prestigious role so soon. Even so, they don’t take her too seriously, believing that she’s just an easily disposable presence. Are they right to assume so, though? What can be her real role in all this?
The still-unseen Princess Morgana is miffed to not have been included in last year’s decisive meeting. She’s coming to challenge Kytana’s crown, as she actually thinks that it belongs to herself without opposition. If her usual tricks at sensually seducing the opposition should fall on deaf ears, though… what will be her alternative scheme?
She has earlier dispatched the two following individuals to begin negotiating with Kytana:
Isabhell is one of Morgana’s closest associate, a person enjoying many influences among the human world, particularly with individuals of power and artists. She discovers a passion towards newcomer Dakina, which Morgana will certainly try to nip in the bud… with success? Malleable, she could switch allegiances from one moment to the next, not really bothered by internal politics.
Dakina is still a bit of an unknown figure in the group, acting under a mysterious agenda. Rooted in more modern ways, she wants to steal Isabhell from Morgana’s influence, more for gain than from any personal interest. Secretly, she wishes a conflict between Kytana and Morgana where these two could be neutralized… and herself could unexpectedly gain power.
But is Kytana's rule as controversial as her opponents claim? Truth be told, she has done some things unheard of these past short months. For example, she has kept a male servant very close, which is seen as an abomination in her Court. As the Vampire world has been ruled for centuries by females, Kytana's intention are very obscure on that point.

Still, she has dicovered a way to cast a spell permitting all of her guests to move about in daylight; this amazing feat is proof that she must be taken seriously as a ruler and challenging her power could result in bitter and unexpected tragedy. Her first guests arriving, Isabhell and Dakina, can't help but to take delight in feeling a bit of sun after being banished to the night world for so long. Kytana herself can be seen completely unaffected by solar rays. So is she just enjoying her feat in a very personal way or is she really trying to impress her guests?

Another mysterious fact: Kytana has been seen holding a strange globe... could this be considered a genuine talisman that she uses for solidifying her base of power and controling her more servile subjects? Or is it just a plastic prop displayed to just confuse?

Or is the dungeon another form of persuasion for gaining obediance?

Sending Isabhell as her first representative was probably not Morgana's best strategy. Not very concerned with internal politics, she became very impressed by Kytana's presence and confidence. It didn't take very long for the reigning Queen to let her guest know who was in charge and in control.

Even with all these strange going-ons, there's a furtive presence hanging back in the few spots of shadow... is Lara acting on her own or is she holding back by orders of her Queen? Yes, she's a very new recruit and maybe all these confrontations are intimidating to her... so she stays behind the scenes... and watches... and learns...

On her arrival, Dakina notices that Isabhell is already on the verge of switching allegiances with Kytana! The newcomer (who has many personal ambitions of her own) decides to lead back her supposed ally into the right path by seducing her.

Having regained Isabhell's interest, Dakina decides to let Morgana plot her own schemes on her arrival. For now, she choose to play it safe around Kytana, not yet knowing what's Lara implication in all this. Things promises to be very chaotic when the other guest Princesses will arrive, that's for sure...
A bit exhausted, Kytana takes some minutes to reflect on how to handle things, alongside her more trusted confidante...

...but quickly regain satisfaction.

Are the following shots meant to convince us that this is "a big happy family?" Please, do not think so...

Join us soon when new pics will be available... and who would miss the fateful official meeting, where other distinguished guests will be present? Will internal struggles crumble Kytana's intentions... or will she gain additional hold on everyone?
